Joel Rusnak

I am a designer who thrives on creativity, ingenuity and innovation. I constantly strive to bring a fresh perspective to design, giving my client’s products elements that make them stand out on the shelf and in the big wide world. I specialize in bringing your brand to the next level through great design, while being sensitive to the business needs of each client.

I know the shoe business inside and out from having worked as an in-house designer with major brands, as a consultant to brands small and large, and from my personal entrepreneurial experience starting and launching my own children’s shoe brand. My extensive and varied industry experience gives me a deep understanding of the challenges that brands face internally and in the marketplace.

I have a holistic approach to design. All aspects of a brand’s identity, product, message, budget, manufacturing capabilities and positioning in the marketplace are taken into consideration to create designs that are not only about aesthetics and functionality, but budget, manufacturing and timeline as well.
